My Favorite Lasagna Recipe
This is the best ever homemade lasagna recipe.
Adding essential oils really makes the flavor pop!
1 lb. Hamburger
2 cloves garlic, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 lb. Ricotta Cheese
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1/4 lb Parmesan Cheese
1 lb. Lasagna noodles
2-3 quarts sauce of choice
2 cans tomato paste
pink himilayan salt to taste
1 drop Black Pepper essential oil
1-2 drops Taste of Italy(tm) essential oil or 1 drop each Oregano and Basil Essential oil
Sauce: Cook about 2 hrs.
Brown and drain fat from ground beef. Season with garlic, onions, & salt. Then add tomato sauce and tomato paste. Season as you go but add essential oils near the end of cooking for a stronger herbal flavoring.
Noodles: After cooking noodles, drain and refill with cold water to prevent sticking (as needed). Lightly pat noodles as they go into the baking dish, but first add a light layer of sauce to the bottom of the baking dish before adding your first layer of noodles. Add noodles long ways and cover with sauce. Use a teaspoon to dot ricotta cheese all over, then sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese. Repeat until pan is filled. Layer Mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese across top before baking.
Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour. Serve and Enjoy!
