I am a huge fan of washing your hands correctly for killing germs and bacteria. To wash your hands correctly, you need to be vigorously rubbing your hands together for at least 30 seconds with soap and water. The soap and the friction from the rubbing is what kills the bacteria. BUT, for those times that we aren't near any areas with soap and water, HAND SANITIZER is a great second option. Right now the stores seem to be sold out of the hand sanitizer so I wanted to share my recipe with you so you have something you can use now. Plus my recipe is natural and free from excess chemicals and actually has healthy nutrients from the essential oils we added in as a bonus.
Ingredients:
15–30 drops of any essential oils that may have antibacterial properties:
Tea Tree, Clove, Thyme, Cinnamon, Orange, Lavender, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Bergamot, Peppermint, Oregano.Optional Moisturizing Choices to Add: You can add one or all.
